Rep. Burgess Owens, U.S. Congressman for Utah’s 4th District, announced on November 18, 2025, a series of legislative updates and local achievements through his official social media account.

In a post published at 16:31 UTC, Owens highlighted federal funding secured for local infrastructure: “BIG news for Gunnison – we secured $5 million for a new drinking water well in Tarr Canyon, a long-overdue project that will ensure reliable water access for years to come. I’m proud to deliver these results for the Fourth District and will keep working every day to get Utah’s”.

Burgess Owens has served as representative of Utah’s 4th Congressional District since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Owens earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in 1974.
