Burgess Owens, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman representing Utah’s 4th district, shared several insights about the “One Big Beautiful Bill” through his social media platform. These statements highlight key aspects of the proposed legislation and its potential impact on American society.

On July 2, 2025, Owens remarked on the comprehensive nature of the bill: “From the largest middle-class tax cut in history and no tax on tips, overtime, or Social Security to a once-in-a-generation border security investment, the One Big Beautiful Bill puts AMERICA FIRST.”

The following day, July 3, he emphasized the anticipated economic benefits upon its enactment: “When @HouseGOP passes the One Big Beautiful Bill and President @realDonaldTrump signs it into law, Americans will feel the difference – in their pockets, at the pump, and in knowing the American Dream is back. Let’s get it done!”

Later that same day, Owens highlighted educational reforms included in the bill: “The One Big Beautiful Bill changes the future of education in America for the better. @HouseGOP will deliver the first-ever permanent federal school choice law, with tax credits that give parents the power to choose what’s best for their kids.”

Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and now residing in Salt Lake City at age 71, Owens has been serving since he replaced Ben McAdams in 2021. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami.
