Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on September 5, 2025, highlighting legislative achievements and policy priorities for Utah families and communities.
In a post at 18:25 UTC, Owens wrote, “The largest Working Families Tax Cut package in U.S. history is a WIN for Utah! $11,400 in tax relief for families Support for 69,000+ small businesses Protections for family farms & ranches Lower energy costs for rural communities Investment in manufacturing & jobs”.
Later that day at 19:06 UTC, he addressed water management efforts in the state: “Water is one of Utah’s greatest priorities, and we lead the way with innovation. Great to meet with Dan Watt and the Water for the West team to discuss solutions Utah and other western states can use to boost our water supply.”
At 19:46 UTC on the same day, Owens commented on border security issues: “Biden’s open border left tens of thousands of children lost to evil traffickers and abusers. Under President @realDonaldTrump, more than 22,000 have been found and rescued, with traffickers arrested and children finally protected.”
