Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts highlighting his work and perspectives on policy, supply chains, and community recognition.

On March 27, 2026, Owens reflected on his role in national transportation policy: “As the first member of @TransportGOP from Utah in over 20 years, I’ve taken our “Utah Way” to Washington and been very glad to see a return to the smart, common-sense projects and policies that deliver real improvements that people can feel every day.”

Addressing economic security two days later, Owens posted about domestic supply chains: “It is critically important that we secure our supply chains. The United States does things better, more efficiently, more environmentally friendly, and treats its workers better than anywhere on the planet. We should not have to go to countries that hate us to secure our critical” (March 29, 2026).

Later that same day, he recognized local leaders: “It was a privilege to recognize the remarkable women of Utah’s West Side whose dedication and leadership continue to shape stronger families, businesses, and communities. We are grateful for your example and dedication to Utah.” (March 29, 2026).

Owens has represented Utah’s 4th District since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Owens earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in 1974.
