Rep. Burgess Owens, a U.S. Congressman representing Utah’s 4th district since 2021, recently highlighted local businesses and manufacturing efforts in a series of social media posts.
On March 31, 2026, Owens visited a local business and shared his impressions: “Stopped by JulieAnn Caramels, what an incredible example of how good family recipes and entrepreneurship can turn into something special!”
The following day, April 1, 2026, he commented on American manufacturing during a visit to Swire Coca-Cola in West Valley: “Proud to witness American manufacturing in action! I was proud to witness the hardworking teams at Swire Coca-Cola in West Valley are in full swing, bringing the America 250 bottle into production!”

Owens has served as the representative for Utah’s 4th District since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently residing in Salt Lake City, Owens graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974.
