Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on December 10, 2025, highlighting recent developments in workforce training and educational initiatives in Utah.

In a post made at 20:55 UTC, Owens expressed appreciation for local efforts to connect education with career opportunities. He wrote, “Thank you to JoLynn Ford and the Advanced Learning Center in Salem for bringing together workforce training leaders from across the state to support classroom-to-career pathways. I’m proud to be your champion on @EdWorkforceCmte, and grateful for Utah’s leadership in education” (December 10, 2025).

Later that evening at 21:35 UTC, Owens commented on broader national efforts through his committee work: “We are on the edge of something remarkable at @EdWorkforceCmte – working hand-in-hand with industry partners to meet our nation’s workforce needs and give every American a clear, skills-first pathway to opportunity in their careers.”

At 22:17 UTC the same day, he announced an award recipient connected to technological innovation. Owens stated, “Proud to announce our @CongressionalAC winner, Ansh Devlekar from South Jordan! Owens has represented Utah’s 4th District since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Before entering politics, Owens graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974.
