Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on his social media account addressing faith, education, and international affairs.

On April 5, 2026, Owens posted a quote from Joseph Wirthlin: “No matter how dark our Friday, Sunday will come.”

The following day, on April 6, 2026, he reflected on a visit to a local school: “It was a pleasure to visit Saint Andrew Catholic School in Riverton and see how they are shaping the next generation through faith, academic excellence, and a strong sense of community.”

Addressing foreign policy on April 8, 2026, Owens commented on recent actions taken by the U.S. administration regarding Iran: “This is a very positive step towards a lasting peace. Iran has been allowed to inflict terror on the world for too long. I’m grateful for a President that doesn’t play games and has finally taken decisive steps to end that rein of terror. Iran cannot be allowed to ever have a”

Owens has served as the congressional representative for Utah’s 4th District since 2021 after replacing Ben McAdams. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City at age 71. Owens earned his BS degree from the University of Miami in 1974.
