Candice B. Pierucci, a Utah state legislator, recently shared updates on her social media account about community events and commemorations in early December 2025.
On December 5, Pierucci highlighted the launch of Giving Machines in her area, an initiative by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Miller family. The Giving Machines program allows individuals to make charitable donations through vending machines during the holiday season. Since its inception in 2017 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it has raised more than $50 million for various causes worldwide.
Pearl Harbor Day is observed annually on December 7 to honor those who served during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941—a pivotal event that led to U.S. involvement in World War II.
