The Giving Machines program allows individuals to make charitable donations through vending machines during the holiday season. Since its inception in 2017 by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it has raised more than $50 million for various causes worldwide.

Pearl Harbor Day is observed annually on December 7 to honor those who served during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941—a pivotal event that led to U.S. involvement in World War II.
