Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his recent meetings with local leaders and community members in a series of tweets posted on August 5, 2025.

In a post published at 18:59 UTC, Owens wrote, “Grateful for the opportunity to meet with @WVCUT Councilman Scott Harmon. I appreciate his leadership and all he’s doing on behalf of the people of West Valley.”

Later that evening at 20:17 UTC, he highlighted another meeting: “It was a pleasure to catch up with my friend Pastor Ron Williams. I am grateful for all he is doing to help our community improve their physical and spiritual health. Keep up the good work, Ron!”

Owens also commented on attending a local event at 20:44 UTC: “Had a great time with Mayor Dan Olson and so many friends at the Orchard Days Rodeo, an incredible Utah tradition that brings our community together in celebration of faith, family, and freedom. “

Burgess Owens has served as Utah’s 4th district representative since 2021 after succeeding Ben McAdams. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Owens graduated from the University of Miami in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
