Rep. Burgess Owens, U.S. Congressman representing Utah’s 4th district, shared a series of updates on his official social media account on September 17, 2025, highlighting meetings with local organizations and industry leaders.

In the first post of the day, Owens wrote, “Honored to meet with @VFW_Utah for an update on their work for veterans, military families, and communities in Utah’s Fourth District and across our country. Grateful for their service, sacrifice, and continued leadership.” (September 17, 2025).

Later that evening, Owens discussed a meeting with representatives from the automotive sector: “Appreciated meeting with the New Car Dealers of Utah to discuss the future of the auto industry and supporting our small businesses. From creating jobs to advocating for members, these entrepreneurs keep our economy moving, and I’m grateful for all they do.” (September 17, 2025).

He also detailed conversations focused on logistics and transportation policy: “Great visit with @tianetdotorg to discuss nationwide efforts to strengthen logistics and transportation, foster innovation, keep supply chains strong – and how we can support this mission on @TransportGOP.” (September 17, 2025).

Burgess Owens has served as the representative for Utah’s 4th District since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021. Born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently residing in Salt Lake City at age 71, Owens graduated from the University of Miami in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
