Rep. Burgess Owens, who has represented Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, posted a series of upbeat messages on his social media account over two days in late February 2026.

On February 24, Owens shared a brief message referencing the popular rock song by Lynyrd Skynyrd: “Siri, play Free Bird https://t.co/bSpB5gLM2l”.

The following day, he expressed optimism about the country’s direction, posting “America, the comeback is here and there’s no sign of slowing down! “ on February 25. Later that same day, he added another succinct message: “Just win baby! https://t.co/7nrkXzNCPD”.

Owens has been a member of Congress since defeating Ben McAdams in 2021 and currently serves as Utah’s representative for the 4th district. Born in Columbus, Ohio, in 1951, Owens resides in Salt Lake City and graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974.
