Rep. Burgess Owens, who represents Utah’s 4th district in the U.S. Congress, has used his social media platform to advocate for the passage of the SAVE America Act and to emphasize accountability in federal aid distribution.

On March 18, 2026, Owens posted: “It’s time. Pass the SAVE America Act. Just win baby!”

The following day, on March 19, 2026, he wrote: “Federal aid should flow to students – not fraudsters. My bill ensures that.”

Continuing his campaign on March 20, 2026, Owens reiterated his call with a brief statement: “Pass the SAVE America Act!”

Owens has represented Utah’s 4th District since 2021 after succeeding Ben McAdams. He was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1951 and currently resides in Salt Lake City. Owens graduated from the University of Miami in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree.
