At 12 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, the Utah Valley Wolverines, featuring former Taylorsville High School standout Megan Sterzer, were defeated 6-3 by the California Baptist Lancers in an NCAA Division I softball game.
John C. Funk Softball Stadium hosted the contest, marking the third time these teams faced each other this season. The season series remains even between the two programs.
Sterzer tallied one hit in two at-bats and drove in a run.
Next, the Wolverines play the Abilene Christian Wildcats on Friday, April 10, at Poly Wells Field.
