67.7% of Tooele County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 71,340 citizens living in Tooele County in 2021, 67.7% were old enough to vote, equating to 48,289 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 24,399 were male, constituting 50.5%, and 23,890 were female, making up 49.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Tooele County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 70.7%.
