Burgess Owens, a U.S. Congressman serving Utah's 4th District since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through his social media platform. As an active member of the House of Representatives, Owens shares his perspectives on legislative actions and commemorative occasions.

On March 26, 2025, Rep. Owens criticized the Biden administration's labor rules, asserting that "workers with disabilities thrive in jobs supported by the 14(c) program," and stating that the administration's new policies would "rip those jobs without offering real alternatives." He highlighted ongoing efforts by the Education and Workforce Committee and Secretary of Labor Julie Su to counter what he described as a "reckless rule" and to "protect these vital opportunities." "Many workers with disabilities thrive in jobs supported by the 14(c) program. Biden’s labor rules would rip those jobs without offering real alternatives. @EdWorkforceCmte is working with @SecretaryLCD to scrap this reckless rule and protect these vital opportunities.".

Rep. Owens continued his critique of the Biden administration on March 27, 2025, announcing via social media that he voted to repeal "two Biden-era rules" which, according to him, resulted in "$8B in compliance costs" and increased food prices under the guise of achieving "imaginary 'efficiency' gains." He commended the actions of the GOP House of Representatives in "cutting red tape" to promote affordability for small businesses and consumers. "I just voted to repeal two Biden-era rules that piled on $8B in compliance costs and drove up food prices—all for imaginary 'efficiency' gains. @HouseGOP is cutting red tape to deliver affordability for small businesses and American consumers.".

Additionally, on the same date, Rep. Owens paid tribute to former Congresswoman Mia Love, referring to her as a "true servant leader" who embodied "energy, heart, and courage." Owens expressed his admiration, adding that it is a significant honor to follow her in representing Utah’s 4th District, and he continues to "draw inspiration from her leadership and legacy." "Mia Love was a true servant leader who brought energy, heart, and courage to this chamber. It’s a profound honor to follow in her footsteps representing Utah’s 4th District, and like so many who knew and loved Mia, I continue to draw inspiration from her leadership and legacy.".
