Burgess Owens, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Utah's 4th district since 2021, has shared several updates via his social media account. The congressman has been vocal about government spending, educational policies, and national security measures in recent tweets.

On February 11, 2025, Owens expressed concerns regarding government expenditures. He stated that "The bureaucratic state is not entitled to your tax dollars." He emphasized the necessity for government spending to have a measurable and positive impact on American lives and criticized past financial allocations towards "slush funds for left-wing projects."

In another tweet dated February 12, 2025, Owens highlighted the introduction of the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025. According to him, this legislation "restores whole and reduced-fat milk options in schools" as part of an effort led by Congressman GT Thompson. Owens described it as beneficial for students' nutrition preferences while supporting dairy farmers.

On the same day, Owens discussed national security through educational transparency with reference to new legislative efforts. He mentioned that "The DETERRENT Act", spearheaded by Representative Baumgartner along with his own RIFA Act component, aims to enhance transparency in universities regarding foreign involvement and restricts university endowments from accepting foreign funds.
