Burgess Owens, a U.S. Congressman representing Utah's 4th district since 2021, has been vocal on several issues through his social media platform. His recent tweets address topics ranging from education reform to women's sports and national security.

On March 11, 2025, Owens expressed his concerns about the current state of public schools. He referenced a long-standing issue by stating: "Just give public schools more time…” Walter’s mom heard that 20 years ago—yet the same school is still failing kids today." He criticized the repetitive approach in education and advocated for school choice as a solution.

Later that day, Owens took a firm stance on women's sports. In a tweet posted at 19:20 UTC, he declared: "Women’s sports are for women. Period." He expressed pride in supporting Senator Risch's efforts to ensure fairness and integrity in international competitions organized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

In another post made at 20:40 UTC on the same day, Owens addressed national security concerns related to campus activities. He stated: "I told @MatthewFoldi: If you promote terrorist activity, storm buildings, or violate the civil rights of fellow students, you'll find yourself with a one-way ticket home." Furthermore, he endorsed Secretary Rubio's initiative to deport individuals identified as Hamas sympathizers.
