Burgess Owens, a Congressman representing Utah's 4th District, shared several significant initiatives and noteworthy meetings on April 3, 2025. Addressing educational policy, governmental dependency systems, and higher education engagement, Owens highlighted his legislative efforts and community networks.

On April 3, 2025, Congressman Owens shared his views regarding educational curriculum, stating "Parents aren’t sending their kids to school to be indoctrinated—they want them to learn reading, writing, and math. I introduced the Say No to Indoctrination Act to codify Trump’s agenda and stop tax dollars from funding gender ideology in K-12 classrooms."

Later the same day, Owens addressed economic systems, claiming, "Too many Americans are trapped in broken systems that punish work and reward dependency. Utah showed there's a better way." He introduced the One Door to Work Act, aimed at expanding Utah's model nationwide to foster independence and enhance dignity among families.

Lastly, Owens highlighted his interaction with representatives from Utah State University. He tweeted, "Enjoyed meeting with Interim President Al Smith and VP Devin Wiser of @USUAggies. We had a great conversation about USU's mission to serve Utah’s students and advance cutting-edge research. Proud to support these efforts."
