City of South Salt Lake issued the following announcement on April 5.
The current main playground (Little Tikes Playground) at Fitts Park is temporarily closed to the public until equipment improvements and a new rubber ground surface has been installed.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation keeping out of the construction zone. The rubber surface requires warm weather to build, so with a little weather luck, the playground will open by Memorial Day!
