Update - 11:00 PM 7/6: Crews at Deer Ridge Dr/Traverse Ridge working on the new water transmission line will need to work until approx 2 AM on 7/7 in order to keep project on track for planned shutoff from 7 AM-10 PM. Apologies for any noise affecting residents.
The Deer Ridge Water Line Project is entering its final stages, with the following impacts to residents scheduled:
July 5 – July 8 – No parking access will be allowed west of Elk Glen Drive (access for the off leash trail).
July 6 - Residents asked to refrain from irrigating lawns starting at 7 AM, through July 7.
July 7 - Planned water shutdown from approximately 7 AM to 10 PM for final connection of new transmission line (see map for affected properties - this is the same area affected by the emergency shutdown due to the line break on June 10)
Following successful tie-in of the new line (estimate for completion July 22), road work will be scheduled to finish the project. We will provide an update on any road work impacts at that time.
We appreciate the patience of residents as this major project is completed and know it will provide a critical improvement to the water system.
