Rep. Burgess Owens, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Utah's 4th District since 2021, took to social media on December 3, 2024, to address various community and national issues.

In a post aimed at residents of Spanish Fork and Saratoga Springs, Rep. Owens announced that his team would be available for assistance with VA benefits, passport renewals, IRS refunds, or any federal agency during their in-person Mobile Office Hours scheduled for the following day. He encouraged constituents to "learn more" about this opportunity.

Addressing educational concerns, Rep. Owens stated that "K-12 schools must get back to teaching the basics". He invited the public to tune into an upcoming hearing by the Education and Workforce Committee set for the next day.

In another tweet on December 3rd, he expressed concern over recent statistics indicating that "28% of Gen Z hold a favorable opinion of the term 'communism'". He referenced President Reagan's warning about freedom being potentially endangered within a single generation.
