He stated that "67% of Utah’s land is federally owned, and the BLM is actively blocking responsible use of the resources Utah holds." He further mentioned his collaboration with Rep. Arrington to demand an "honest assessment" of these lands for the benefit of all residents.
The following day, December 13, Rep. Owens congratulated Tim Walberg on his election as Chair of the Education and Workforce Committee.
