Burgess Owens, a U.S. Congressman representing Utah's 4th district since 2021, has been vocal on social media regarding recent political developments and personal engagements. Owens, who succeeded Ben McAdams, shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets.

On December 10, 2024, Owens expressed criticism towards President Joe Biden's actions as he prepares to leave office. He stated that Biden had "pardoned his son" and "pushed more illegal student loan bailouts." Additionally, he accused the president of having "entrenched WFH for fed. employees," distributed foreign aid while ignoring domestic hurricane victims, and provided Iran with $10 billion in sanction relief.

Later that day, Owens mentioned a conversation with Linda McMahon in another tweet dated December 10, 2024. He remarked that he is "more energized than ever to accomplish our shared mission to strengthen America's education system." He emphasized the importance of ensuring every child has access to quality education and expressed optimism about the future.

In a subsequent tweet on December 11, 2024, Owens commented on President Biden's recent statements. He acknowledged agreement with Biden by stating "that's spot on from President Biden." Furthermore, he highlighted the anticipation surrounding former President Trump's plans for an "American comeback" following what he described as a turning point on November 5th.
