Rep. Burgess Owens, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Utah’s 4th district, shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets posted on March 25, 2025. Owens, who has been in office since replacing Ben McAdams in 2021, expressed his views on energy strategy, education, and regulatory challenges faced by small businesses.

On March 25, 2025, Owens reflected on his visit to Sunrun Solar in Lehi. He stated: "I really enjoyed the opportunity to visit the team at Sunrun Solar in Lehi last week. Not only do they have an amazing team, but the company is an important piece of an all-of-the-above energy strategy that will help make the USA energy dominant."

Later that day, he commented on educational performance statistics and praised local models of innovation. At 17:09 UTC, he tweeted: "Only 30% of 8th graders can read or do math at grade level. Utah stands in sharp contrast at #2 in education and #1 in innovation. Local models work when you let them, and I applaud @POTUS and @EDSecMcmahon for leading the way."

In another tweet posted at 18:23 UTC, Owens addressed regulatory challenges faced by small businesses in Utah. He noted: "Utah’s small outfitters and guides are doing everything right—and getting crushed by rules they don’t even know they’re breaking. These are the folks powering our middle class, and I’m committed to giving them the freedom and certainty they deserve."
