Rep. Burgess Owens, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Utah's 4th District since 2021, has recently shared updates on his engagements and interests on social media. These updates highlight his involvement with educational, medical, and business communities.

On March 28, 2025, Rep. Owens expressed his enthusiasm for a visit from Mountain Heights Academy students to Washington, D.C. Describing the encounter, he noted, "Always great when Utah students make it out to see our nation’s capital. This group from Mountain Heights Academy brought thoughtful questions and real curiosity about how Congress works, and I know they have bright futures ahead!"

Later that day, he tweeted about meeting with Dr. Kurt Miceli from Do No Harm, addressing concerns about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion mandates in medical education. He remarked, "Great to meet with Dr. Kurt Miceli from Do No Harm to discuss how DEI mandates are harming medical education. I’m proud to stand with those working to keep healthcare focused on merit, excellence, and patient care."

In a subsequent post, Rep. Owens commended a local Utah business. He mentioned his interaction with Lex Howard and his team from Balance of Nature, saying, "Great to catch up with Lex Howard and the team from Balance of Nature. Proud to support Utah businesses that are creating jobs, promoting wellness, and investing in our communities."
