Burgess Owens, a U.S. Congressman representing Utah's 4th District since 2021, has been active on social media sharing his views and actions taken for his constituency and country. A former NFL player from Columbus, Ohio, Owens now resides in Salt Lake City and engages in various legislative activities.

On April 8, 2025, Owens expressed support for a legislative initiative aimed at enhancing health coverage options for small businesses. "Proud to join @RepWalberg’s Association Health Plans Act to restore the Trump admin rule that let small businesses and solo entrepreneurs join together to negotiate better health coverage at lower costs."

Later that day, he commended the state of Utah for its exemplary status in the nation, stating, "Utah is a model for the nation in so many ways, and it's incredible to have an administration that recognizes it!"

Owens also addressed efforts concerning the return of Utah natives from overseas. In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Congo and the State Department, he has worked on resolving issues that affected residents abroad. He mentioned, "My team and I have worked in close coordination with the U.S. Embassy in Congo and the State Department to secure a resolution that brings these Utahns back to American soil. Their families remain close to our hearts after navigating immense uncertainty over the past year."
